ONLINE ROUNDS & IN-PERSON FINALS

Online Rounds provide registered students a chance to compete against fellow students from across the globe. To best prepare, we recommend the following steps before competition begins:

  • Review and understand the schedule
  • Complete available Monthly Challenges
  • Ensure your equipment and internet and ready to go before the Online Rounds begin

Friday & Saturday September 30 & October 1 Online Round 1

September 30 & October 1: Online Round 1

Get ready for the first competition of the 2023 Season. Registered students will have 2 hours to complete the Tasks once downloaded, and all sessions must be completed and turned in by Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 11:59pm PST / Monday, October 2, 2023 at 7:59am BST. The top 20 students with a combined score from Rounds 1 & 2 will be invited to the in-person Finals. See the Competition Rules Section 5 for complete rules.

Saturday October 14 Online Round 2

October 14: Online Round 2

This is the second, and final, Online Round of the 2023 Season. Tasks will be posted on October 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM EST / 4:00 PM BST and registered students will have to submit their solutions by October 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM EST / 6:00 PM BST. The top 20 students with a combined score from Rounds 1 & 2 will be invited to the in-person Finals. See the Competition Rules Section 5 for complete rules.

December 2: in-person Finals

This is it! 20 individual students and Partner School teams from across the globe will be competing in-person at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. See the Competition Rules Section 5 for complete rules.
