In this Challenge, you will project your future retirement savings based on your savings horizon, how much you save each year, and how you invest your savings. From an Excel perspective, you will learn more about lookup functions, IF statements, how to “properly” center text, and model building. From a personal finance perspective, you will learn about real and nominal returns and the power of compound interest. Note that the savings horizon parameter is less than or equal to 50 years.
