July Battle – Lost Instructions (JV)

Here is a comprehensive walkthrough guide list for the July Weekend Battle (JV Level) provided by MECC Faculty fellow, lecturer at Duke Kunshan University and Excel Esports player Ben Gutscher. The case is available in your ExPrep account. Try it yourself, and if you get stuck, look for the solution in the videos.

TASK

Good News: You and 24 friends did an Excel Battle. The Guesses from the battle are provided in the cells to the right of each level.

Bad News: You all accidentally deleted the instructions and are unable to figure out what the Correct Answers are!

Good News: You reached out to the MECC, and they provided you with some information to determine the Correct Answers.

Bad News: The information they provided wasn’t the exact Correct Answers that you were looking for. You now have to read the rules of each Level to determine the Correct Answer for each Game.

Good News: You and your friends have now learned to never accidentally delete instructions…hopefully…

IMPORTANT NOTES
Column E contains cells for Your Answer, which is what the Level is requesting and is used for scoring this Road to Las Vegas Battle.
For some levels, Column G contains cells for the Correct Answer, which is used in determining which Players got the Game correct.
The maximum number of points a Player could score was 1000, and each Player has provided 140 answers across 7 Levels.
Both Your Answers and Correct Answers will be whole numbers, so no rounding is needed.
