For anyone seeing this or reading this, I have made the update draft on a separate page, that will be deleted afterwards, to not run into autosaving issues while editing the main page, before the changes are done and accepted by Lauma.
I didn’t expect to be traveling to these in-person events internationally. I sort of just thought it was a fun little thing I do primarily for school but processing the fact that I’m able to travel to these Excel competitions was a surreal thing and I’m super grateful.
Anyone who puts in time to prepare and practice will always Excel and usually do well when it comes to competitions. The most important thing is to join, to take part and have fun learning. Everyone at MECC is getting better and has improved a lot, looking back to when I started competing 2-3 years ago, it's a completely different level to what it was before.
If you're looking to join MECC, don't wait for the right time, just do it. You will see that it is very instructive and interesting.
This is an amazing way to level up your Excel skills. Excel is used in a whole lot of different industries and courses so if you have good Excel skills, it gives you a leg up on all the other students who compete for things like job placements and internships.
Anyone looking to join, I would say, Excel is about building logic and an understanding of foundation. It doesn't just teach you one tip or trick, but a solid foundation of skills.
I see my personal evolution after joining MECC and want to express that Excel is not a difficult thing and invite all fellow students to join and take part in learning and competitions.
